PROVISION

on support in the 2012-2013 academic year of the talented youth studying

at the Autonomous non-profit organization of higher professional education

“Interregional Open Social Institute”

1. General provisions
 

1.1. Provision on support in the 2012-2013 academic year of the talented youth studying at the Autonomous non-profit organization of higher professional education “Interregional Open Social Institute” (hereinafter referred to as Provision) establishes the procedure, terms and volume of support of the students studying at the Autonomous non-profit organization of higher professional education “Interregional Open Social Institute” (hereinafter referred to as ANPO HPE IOSI).

1.2. This Provision is elaborated on the basis of the applicable legislation of the Russian Federation, including the Civil Code of the RF and the Federal Law of the RF “On higher and post-graduate professional education”.

1.3. This Provision applies to the students enrolled in the first year of full-time degree program at ANPO HPE IOSI in 2012.

1.4.  This Provision does not apply to the students expelled for some reason from the first year of studies.

This Provision does not apply to the students who have previously studied at other institutions of higher professional education.

1.5. This Provision is in force in the 2012 – 2013 academic year.
 

2. Objectives and targets of support of the talented youth

studying at ANPO HPE IOSI
 

2.1. Objective: human resource retention and development of the Mari El Republic by means of preventing outflow of skilled labour from the Republic.

2.2. Targets: ensuring availability of education in demanded degree programs, stimulation of youth interest in study and science, training of high-qualified experts for economy of the Mari El Republic.

 

3. Procedure and terms of providing supportive measures to the talented youth

 

3.1. Supportive measures consist in providing for successful students, listed in the clause 1.3. of the Provision, money to pay for their studies at ANPO HPE IOSI.

3.2. Monetary funds for studies payment are provided on the basis of the Contract concluded between ANPO HPE IOSI and the following organizations:

- Limited liability company “Knowledge”.

3.3. Monetary funds for studies payment in the current semester are provided according to еру results of semestrial examinations subject to students’ compliance with the following requirements:

1) no academic failures;

2) no absences from studies;

3) examinations and credit tests passing from the first time;

4) participation in scientific and extracurricular activities confirmed by certificates;

5) student’s receiving the marks stated in clauses 3.4 or 3.5 of this Position.

3.4. If following semestrial results, a full-time student receives two or more “good” marks, in the absence of “satisfactory” marks, such student is provided monetary funds to pay his or her studies in the amount stated in the Supplement 1 to this Provision.

3.5. If following semestrial results, a full-time student receives all “excellent” marks, or one “good” mark and the rest “excellent” marks, such student is provided monetary funds to pay his or her studies in the amount stated in the Supplement 2 to this Provision.

3.6. In case of expel of a student who has been provided with monetary funds to pay his or her studies, from the first year of studies, he or she must compensate to ANPO HPE IOSI all the Institute’s expenses for his or her training, regardless of whether these expenses were covered with the sum appropriated by the organization or not.
